Research Articles Owojaiye, Sunday Oni A. and Enyikwola Rebecca. pp. 32 - 39 ADULT STERILITY CORRELATES: FEMALES STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOR CAUSES OF PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASES: SEXUAL HEALTH IMPLICATION FOR POPULATION GROWTH IN NIGERIA ENVIRONMENT.
This research paper present “adult sterility correlates: female students behavior causes of pelvic inflammatory diseases: sexual health implication for population growth in Nigeria” the population for the study was one thousand five hundred and fifty (1550) female students’ drawn from fifty (50) post-primary schools in the central and western senatorial district Kogi state. The instrument used for data collection was a structured validated and reliable. 78r inventory “Sc FSBCOPIDFSHAPGIN”. Data gathered was by the researchers and 4 (four) research assistants (sandwich UNAD B.ED (sc) students . information (data) collected was analyzed using spearman ranking order (S-Rho) statistical methods at alpha 0.05 level of significance and 1409 degree of freedom. Based on the results of data analysis and the discussion, it could be concluded as follows.

The study examined the students’ attitude to cataloguing and classification in an academic institution using department of library and Information Science, federal polytechnic offa as a case study. It was a survey study and therefore questionnaire was the instrument for the collection of data. Random sampling method was used in selecting the sample from HND II, HND I and ND II students. The study revealed that some students perceived the courses as difficult with their practical which attributed to insufficient practical, also tradition method of teaching employed by lecturers teaching the courses makes the courses not interested. Recommendations among the students are that school should provide a well-equipped cataloguing and classification laboratory for teaching and learning. Lecturers teaching the courses should employ new strategies for effective teaching of the courses and theory should be balanced with practicals as well as provision of ICTs facilities connected with internet
which will change the negative attitude of students to the courses.

This paper “sensitizing students of performing arts on the influence of air in hearing health education for music making in University of Jos . Relevant cases dealt with are 1. The relationship of air to breathing; 2. Breathing to produce sound 3. Health hazard of the respiratory tracts; and 4. Air-passage health practice. It was concluded that the efficacy of air and air passage had been followed through the need to adhere to air health procedure, avoidance of humidity and coldness and excessive hat, adequate healthy habit become imperative. It was further recommended that 1. Examination of the nasal, larynx and the related organs should be embarked by the college authority through invitation of otorhinolaryngologist and engaged for verification of music students’ state of respiratory track. Student should be charged certain fee to commensurate with the degree of air-passage ill-health.

This research paper studied “development of sport administrators for enhancement of physio- psycho-social health security of Nigerian youths’. A survey research method was used for the study.. The population used was 500 randomly selected SSS I students from twenty (20) secondary schools from the slates capitals of kwara and Kogi. The instrument used for gathering data was a structured, validated, and reliable 0.85 Questionnaire with ten (10) statements under psychological social and physiological factors. The data collected for the study was by the Researchers. Based on the result of data analysis and then discussions, it was concluded that:- (I) act of hooliganism resulting to injuries and even death ranked first on the list of factor militating against effective athletic performance. Also, peer group influence make them indulge in drug abuse, early sex and sensitization on need for pursuit of academic. Based on the conclusions drawn, it was recommended among others that:- (I) the
federal, state and local government should through the sport councils in each state monitor the athletic star hunt during inter- house competition in the primary, and secondary school, (ii) Monetary gains i.e. N50, 000 -100,000 should be attached to SS III world event record breakers, (iii) scholarships should be attached for Student in J. S. S. ]-S. S. S III who excelled in sports events and/or breaks records.
